Sustainability in Packaging Europe will return to Barcelona on 8-10 October 2024 for the ninth time. The 2023 event saw over 600 packaging innovators join us, and next year's event promises to be even bigger and better. As the only event to focus solely on sustainability in packaging and as Europe's largest sustainable packaging event, this is not to be missed.
2023 featured over 75 packaging industry experts, and once again provided delegates with a full 360 degree perspective on how companies have achieved circularity. Stakeholders from across the industry discussed their challenges and successes of achieving circularity for packaging, providing practical examples to help drive the industry forward.

Feliks is currently leading Mars' global packaging sustainability strategy with a special focus on improving circularity of flexible packaging. He is passionate about circular economy and keen to develop systemic solutions to improve the life cycle of plastic packaging. He has extensive business and technical experience in packaging design and recycling infrastructure, and for more than 10 years he has been involved in various sustainability positions helping companies such as Renault, Tarkett and Danone to transition towards circular economy.
Indrajeet Prasad serves as a Product Manager for Deep Learning-based sorting products at TOMRA. He boasts an MBA degree from the Czech Republic, a master’s in electrical engineering from Poland, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Electronics Engineering and Physics from India. His professional acumen is founded on five years in research and development, supplemented by his tenure as a co-founder of a data science startup in the Czech Republic. He also held the position of Technical Project Lead at Honeywell.
At TOMRA, he dedicates his efforts towards the establishment and expansion of AI-based deep learning solutions, setting novel standards in the Recycling Business stream. One of his notable contributions is launching the industry's first-ever revolutionary AI-based Food-grade sorting product, GAINnext™, designed for PET, HDPE and PP Plastic packaging; this innovation is supplemented by over eight additional AI-based sorting applications. Each of these stands as a testament to TOMRA's steadfast commitment to a resource revolution.
Jukka Ketoja is a Principal Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. His work primarily focuses on the fields of materials and bio-based solutions based on cellulose fibres. This includes the study of their properties, production processes, and potential applications in various industries. He has published numerous scientific papers and holds several patents in the field of material science. Ketoja aims to push the boundaries of material science, exploring new ways to create stronger, lighter, and more sustainable packaging materials.
Graham is the Managing Director of SLOOP Consulting B.V. which has been offering consulting services and tools in the field of packaging and sustainability since 2009.
He is the founder & project co-ordinator for CEFLEX (a Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging), which is a collaborative initiative by over 170 companies and associations from across the flexible packaging value chain to make flexible packaging even more relevant in the circular economy.
Prior to 2009, he worked for Unilever for 23 years with a wide range of responsibilities including: R&D, Packaging management and design, Supply chain restructuring, Sustainability and CSR.
When not helping clients to make their packaging more sustainable, he enjoys being outdoors, BBQ’ing, restoring an old house and trying to fend off Father Time by keeping fit.
• Adriana is a chemical engineer with a PhD in Materials Science. She is a seaweed packaging biopolymer formulation expert with over 5 years of experience in R&D projects and product development. She also coordinates initiatives within R&D and corporate partnerships.
Fatih is a Technical Account Manager with over 12 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, including 5 years at Korozo Flexibles. Holding B. Eng. in Plastics and Production, Fatih focuses on driving Sustainability and Innovation in Packaging Solutions. Collaborating closely with key customers Fatih uses his broad industry knowledge and technical expertise to create and execute innovative packaging strategies together with customers.
